WattVise

Features

Everything WattVise does, for you who charge at home, for residents of a housing association and for its board. How each choice works is under Help.

For you who charge at home

  • AutoCharge: automatic start

Plug in and leave it: WattVise starts the charging by itself, and pauses and resumes it by price, your plan and your car. No app to open, no button to press.

  • Smart plan

Reads the car's battery level and, at its measured average charging speed, charges in the cheapest quarters before you leave, ready on time.

  • Eco charging

Or simply: charge only when the price is low, or low or normal.

  • Only your car

Starts only when it's your car at the charger, by its position, when it was plugged in or its charging tag.

  • Prices as you pay them

Spot with your markup and VAT, time-of-use grid fees and power fee, or a fixed price, also by time of day.

  • Solar surplus

Turned on, the car always charges on what your panels give over, whatever the price or plan: sent from Home Assistant or your own script.

  • Notifications

Tomorrow's cheapest hours, done charging, not ready in time, a charger offline, a price alert: by ntfy or on your phone.

  • Statistics

Cost, savings by timing and CO₂ per car, RFID tag and month, every session's charging curve, CSV and a monthly report.

  • Driving log

Trips with a map and the route, distance and kWh/100 km, as CSV; on for a new car, off with a tick.

  • Which car tonight

With more cars than chargers: which to plug in tonight.

  • Your household

Share a charger with the household: they start and pause, the prices stay yours.

  • Power at home

The house's load from Tibber Pulse, HomeWizard or Shelly beside the charging.

  • API and Home Assistant

Status, start and pause with a personal token, documented with Swagger.

For residents of a housing association

  • AutoCharge on the association's charger

Add the association's charger and your car to your own WattVise account (not through the association): it starts the charging when it's your car that's plugged in, and the association's rule decides when it may charge. Your car stays yours: the board never sees it.

  • Cheap without doing anything

Plug in as usual: the association's chargers charge in the cheap hours.

  • Low battery? Charge now

If the board allows it: under your car's own level it charges at once, whatever the rule, up to the board's ceiling.

  • On the association's sun

If the association has solar panels, your car charges on their surplus whatever the price.

  • Your own smart plan

If the board allows it: your car's battery level and departure decide, within the association's hours.

  • Parking queues

Join a queue or a swap queue yourself, see your number, and answer an offer in the app.

  • News from the board

The association's news page, with a notification when something is posted.

  • What charging costs

The board's own words on the price and how it's paid; share your kWh for the bill if it bills from the app.

  • Private

The board never sees your car, your RFID tags or who charged.

For the board

  • Every charger in one place

Free, charging or offline, with an alert when one goes offline.

  • Smart charging

One rule for every charger, by price or before a time, and at most so many cars at once to keep the power fee down.

  • Load balancing

Follows the main fuse with a meter: Perific, Shelly, Tibber, HomeWizard, Easee Equalizer, Zaptec Sense or your own.

  • Solar panels

With the association's panels: as many cars charge on the surplus as it feeds, whatever the rule and the price.

  • Statistics

Energy, the average price per kWh, CO₂, what timing saved, each charger's occupancy and the result per month and year.

  • Billing

kWh and cost per member at the association's price, also by time of day, as CSV and in a monthly report.

  • Members and apartments

Invite links tied to an apartment, a register with addresses and fields of your own.

  • Parking register

Areas, places, queues and offers, and a list of what to sort out to keep the queues current.

  • News and mail

A news page you turn on, and mail to members from the association's own address.
