Smart charging with Easee
Connect your Easee with the login from the Easee app. WattVise then starts the charging in the cheapest hours, pauses it when the price goes up, and imports every session with what it cost.
Connect it
- Settings → Chargers → Easee: log in with your Easee account, the one in the Easee app.
- Pick your chargers.
- Choose how each should charge: at once, in the cheap hours or by the smart plan.
What works
- Start, pause and resume
- WattVise starts or resumes the charging by the charger's state, and pauses it when the price goes up. Easee answers before the charger acts, so a start can take a moment to show.
- The car by its tag
- Link an RFID tag to a car: the Easee charger tells WattVise the tag at plug-in, so the car is named in the statistics at once.
- Every session
- Energy, priced at the spot price, with CO₂ and the car that was plugged in.
- Easee Equalizer
- As the meter for the house's load beside the charging, and for an association's load balancing.
Questions
- Does the Easee app still work?
- Yes. WattVise uses Easee's cloud as the app does; a session started from the Easee app follows your eco mode too.
- Does a tag let my car charge?
- A tag names the car in the statistics. Whether it's your car at the charger the app still checks by the car itself.
- Is my Easee login safe?
- It's stored encrypted and used only to read and control your own chargers.
