WattVise

Chargers and cars WattVise works with

WattVise controls the charger through its maker's cloud, with the login from its app, and reads the car through its brand's. Here's what works with each, and what doesn't yet.

Chargers

Zaptec
Log in with your Zaptec account. Start, pause and resume, every session in the statistics (listed once the car is unplugged), and a whole installation for an association. More about Zaptec
Easee
Log in with your Easee account. Start, pause and resume, every session in the statistics, and the RFID tag read at plug-in names the car. More about Easee
Wallbox
Log in with your myWallbox account, or connect over OCPP. Start, pause and resume; its sessions aren't imported into the statistics yet. A locked charger is never unlocked by the app.
Charge Amps
Log in with your Charge Amps account and an API key from its support, or connect over OCPP. Each connector is a charger of its own; the statistics get each session's totals.
OCPP (CTEK and others)
A charger that speaks OCPP 1.6J connects to an address the app makes for you, with no API key: start and pause, and every session in the statistics. OCPP is the newest way in and is still being tried with real chargers.

Cars

With the car's login WattVise knows that it's your car at the charger and reads its battery level, for the smart plan and the driving log.

Polestar
Battery level, plug state and where the car is parked.
Volvo
Battery level and plug state through Volvo's API.
Tesla
With your own Tesla developer application; a sleeping car is never woken.
BMW and MINI
Through BMW CarData, which allows 50 readings a day.
Kia and Hyundai
Through the brands' own connected services.
Škoda
Through Škoda's official API.
Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Cupra
Through VW's EU Data Act portal, which delivers data about every 15 minutes, or faster through Smartcar.
Smartcar
Many more brands, BYD among them, with your own Smartcar application.
Xpeng, Zeekr and Lynk & Co
Added by their VIN without a login: the app can't read their battery level.

Meters

Tibber Pulse, Shelly Pro 3EM, Perific, Easee Equalizer and Zaptec Sense, P1 readers that send to a web address, or any meter through the API: the house's load beside the charging, and for an association, load balancing against the main fuse.

Questions

My charger isn't listed.
If it speaks OCPP 1.6J, connect it over OCPP. Otherwise, write to us on the contact page.
Do I need the car's login?
No, but without it the app can't read the car's battery level or where it is, so the smart plan charges for a set number of hours and the car check has less to go on.

Let your car charge cheaply by itself.
